A proud Irish expat, I moved to Australia in 1989 in search of adventure and never looked back! As a working Mum, wife and business owner with over 30 years’ experience in accounts across many industries, I’ve seen it all – the good, the bad and the down right scary!
After spending years in the corporate world of accounts I felt something was missing. I felt like I needed more of a connection to people, and I wanted to use my skills to help others in small business. So Steadfast Bookkeeping was born, and I decided on the tag line “Strength in numbers” – which says it all, really! My strength is in numbers, and numbers are the strength in your business.
Being in business is complex. Solopreneurs try to wear all the hats in their business, and often have little to no accounting experience. Managing the set up and day-to-day running of your books can be time consuming and stressful, not to mention costly if mistakes are made.
My philosophy when it comes to bookkeeping and business is that ‘outer order, brings inner calm’. I’ve seen time and time again the life changing magic that strength in numbers can give you as a business owner.
Helping you on your journey from confused to calm absolutely lights me up, and if I’ve learned anything in business, it’s to focus on the parts within your zone of genius, and outsource the rest!
